St Dogmaels Abbey
St Dogmaels Abbey
Situated right in the centre of St Dogmaels are the ruins of a Tironensian Order Abbey.
If ecclesiastical buildings and ruins are of interest, then the Abbey is well worth a visit. Housed in the Coach House Cafe is the Abbey Museum where you can find many artefacts discovered in the ruins of the Abbey.
A Day with the Dolphins
There are several companies that provide great days out to watch the Dolphins playing in the Bay. You might be lucky enough to see them by just standing on the beach, but for a fantastic day out and best chance of seeing these fantastic mammals- a boat trip is the best way. The closest company is "A Bay to Remember" and boats depart from there or alternatively Poppit Sands or Gwbert. Please see thie website at www.baytoremember.co.uk
